Pyrite concretions are found all over in black shale. It is very easy to harvest, but finding clean shiny specimens with good crystals is rare. Tumbling produces good polished pieces of the bigger rocks. Some cleaning can improve pieces.	On the east side of highway 71, going north, immediately after intersection of highway 90 (stoplight) near Jane, Missouri
