This is the huge copper mine. According to the Travel Channel's Treasure Wiki Arizona Page, the site tour lets you sift through a tailing pile at the end of the tour. It's probably worth it just to see the mine and its operations. Information on the tour is at this link.	Drive south from Tucson on HWY 19 and take exit 80 Pima Mine Road.
