Apparently this is a good spot for finding gold along a large range. The information at the Travel Channel's Treasure Wiki Arizona Page says that you can find places to metal detect or sluice. It also points you to another site. The first link is broken, but it said: "The Bradshaw Range north of Phoenix has yielded thousands of ounce of gold to amateur prospectors. There are places to metal detect pan and sluice for gold. "The Bradshaw Mountains are alongside I-17 between Black Canyon City and Prescott. Go to this site for more information.
