There is a fairly new roadcut (new bridge was finished within last year and a half). It is also a large roadcut with a lot of small rocks lining the hillside down to the roadcut. The good news is that I spotted clear calcite, pink dolomite, sphalerite, and druzy quartz that I know of were found in the roadcuts. The bad news is that the crystalization is not significant enough to really be a great location. I am interested in knowing more about what some of the weird reddish mineralization is in some rocks I found on the hill. They had cavities that I was expecting to be lined with druzy quartz, but they were just pinkish reddish veins. Nothing significant, but just want to know what it is. Some samples were nice and colorful.
Precautions

Be careful navigating (rolling) down a large hill covered with smaller rocks. Take the usual precautions when chiseling out specimens in the walls of the roadcuts.
North of Eureka Springs on highway 62 (going north or west) in a curvy section of the road where a nice new bridge extends over a valley of the roadcuts. The placemark in the map is exact, but the picture on google earth is not updated to show the roadcuts. Google street view shows the bridge under construction and the road cuts.
