All of the current information about this Amethyst Mine is at the wncrocks.com page for it. The fee is posted at $25/day as of when I added this location. You can visit this location by appointment only with preferable 2 weeks notice (email Stever Barr at stevebarr@windstream.net). Here is a blurb from the website: "Jackson Crossroads is a premiere collecting site for world-class amethyst specimens. Famous for its dark purple crystals with a "Georgia Blue Flash", it has been featured on the Travel Channels "Cash and Treasures" show."
