There is quite a bit of jasper and agate to be had in the Brenda area.  Mostly it is jasper but there is agate there if you are willing to hike farther into the area.  Rockhounding Arizona has information with directions for one location just off of hwy 60 about a mile east of the town of Brenda.  It is site 68 in the most recent "Rockhounding Arizona" book.  Many rockhounds have stopped at this site but there is still a lot of material to be found.

GPS coordinates to pull off area 33040'58.49"N  1130 55'58.31"W according to Google Earth.  Take hwy 60 out of Wickenburg west towards Quartzsite.  The town of Brenda is before hwy 60 goes to I10.  There is a pull off site (not easy to spot) on the left side of the hwy about a mile before you get to the town of Brenda.  There is a walk through gate in the barbed wire fence.  Please don't destroy the fence trying to get in there, just use the makeshift gate.
