| Magnet Cove is a mineral-rich district in Hot Springs County just north of Magnet Cove, AR. All of the land is on private property and is not open to public inquiry, however the right-of-way area under the Hwy 51 bridge at Cove Creek is public contains some dumps of mined material from old mining operations. Minerals found are various while carbonatite and syenite pegmatite are the predominate minerals here. Panning creek sediment and searching can yield many minerals. | It is near the intersection of Hwy 270 and Hwy 51. From the town of Magnet Cove, go north on 51 until you get to the bridge over magnet cove creek (near cove creek Rd.) |
