Description: Septarian nodules are believed to be the product of an ancient sea; waves off of the water body push decomposing marine life ashore and roll the organic and seashell components into a mud ball. It is theorized that the Septarian nodule is a form of a silicated, petrified mud ball resulting in chambers that later filled with macrocrystalline quartz and colorful chalcedony including pink!
