Description: GOLD, PETZITE in TETRAHEDRITE, QUARTZ. Size: 2" x 1 1/2" x 1/2". Very rich piece of "high grade" gold ore collected by miners in the 1980s. The quartz matrix is actually silicified volcanic rock, and the mine is not really in a vein, it's in a fault zone of this silicified rock, fairly narrow in most places.
