Formation, Groom Range, Esmeralda County, Nevada. Size: The specimen is 1 1/8”
in length on a small plate. This one has retained its free cheeks. The vast
majority of these found are molts. Ogygopsis typicalis is an index fossil of
the L. M. CAM., and is closely related to the world-famous Burgess Shale
trilobite species, Ogygopsis klotzi.
