CSS: 9.4 lb Piece Of Rainbow Obsidian Rough Davis Creek California Knapping
This specimen is not for sale, and was archived from an external source for the purpose of preserving and sharing its geologic, geographic, and collector value.
Description:  I combine shipping on multiple wins. CSS: 9.4 lb Piece Of Rainbow Obsidian Rough Davis Creek California Knapping. Has a lot of silver bands and not as much color as the others big looks pretty incredible wet. Has tons of bands. This area is closed for digging for 2020. Pictured wet and dry so you can see what it will look like polished. Since we have so much smoke in the air around here and and no sunshine I took pictures inside wet and dry. Some pieces expose more color on the outside then others but they all have color. You have to know how to cut this to get the color to come out. I was told to line up the bands with the blade then turn the piece 6 degrees either direction. Other's may have a different way to do it.
Winning Bid: USD $34.99 - 1 bids (Year Sold: 2020 )
