Description: Native copper chisel chip - Central Mine, Michigan. 7 1/4 inches long.This unusually large chip is from the days before machinery mined copper. It is hand chiseled piece, a part of Michigan's mining history. Copper chisel chips are the pieces left over from the miners hand chiseling out larger pieces of copper from the rock. Condition is New. Shipped with USPS First Class.
