Description: Sphenodiscus Dakota Purple Ammolite Ammonite Fossil + Impressions. This is a beautiful, rare find from South Dakota, a Sphenodiscus ammonite fossil. This species is very thin.like a discus. There is also a very nice Scaphite ammonite impression, several spiral gastropod fossils, and two partial Peclypods.
