Details: The link for the travel channel's page is broken. Much of the info comes from Bill Reynolds, a columnist with Rock and Gem Magazine. Here is what the link used to say: "General description: In 1972, chlorastrolite a variety of pumpellyite became the official State Gem for Michigan. Chlorastrolite is a beautiful green mineral with a chatlyant "turtle-back" pattern.
