Details: This information is form mindat. It reports geodes 6.4miles south of Cabezon near the Rio Puerco river area. It looks like there might be some good sight-seeing around there.
Directions: The map placemark is approximate. To get there it looks like you would go from highway 44 to New Mexico road 279 and stay straight when the road takes a sharp curve to the north (right). From Cabezon you take the BLM route past the west of town that has a bridge over the river and go south 6.4 miles on it.
