I hate posting locations in which I don't have exact information, but I do know there have been people that have discussed finding Bear Canyon agates (usually banded black and white colors) while hiking around Bear Canyon. Here are couple of links that talk about it:

The best canyon is in the Pryor mountains south west side a few miles from the wyoming border.
