Details: This location comes from Bob's Rock Shop Indiana Collecting Sites. According to information that is dated back to 1991 from The Mineralogical Record v.22, some geodes found at this roadcut have much of the same mineral makeup as Keokuk geodes. More information can be found in the book and from the website.
Directions: On State Route 37, 10.5 miles north of Bedford just south of the Monroe Lake exit.
