Details: This is not the same location as the old one. Call ahead at 660-754-1134 or email tscheffler @mchsi.com. An entrance fee of $25 gets a 5 gallon bucketful. Extra may be 75 cents a pound. Keokuk geodes are some of the best and have a good range of pretty minerals inside them. Mostly they are quartz-based. For information on opening them, etc., go to

I am pretty sure that is the old address, but the number you have seems to be the most recent. It is on Hwy 61 now, I know that much :) Planning on visiting in August so if I remember I'll post the new addy. |
