There is an extensive exposure south of Hamilton on Crystal Glen Creek where there are geodes according to the source below. These geodes may contain Aragonite, barite, calcite, chalcopyrite, pink dolomite, goethite, jarosite, marcasite, malachite, pyrite, pyrolusite, quartz, selenite, smithsonite, and sphalerite in any combination. Please respect private property and state laws. The maps in the source are handy and may help direct you to the landowners.
South of Hamilton on county highway 32, turn left onto Windy Hill and then turn left on County Road 750. View the map found in the source linked below as the reference. Ask for permission from the farm owner if you need to.
