Details: Geodes with blue and pink chalcedony can be found near Niota. This looks like it might be on private property, so get permission.
Directions: A map is listed in the source referenced below. I'm guessing my coordinates are exact based on google earth and trying to map it based on the topography. There should be a Green farm house near by where highway 96 and 9 straighten out going east 2.5 miles from Niota.

The Niota IL site is a state owned Nature Preserve and digging and/or taking geodes from the creek is illegal and violators will be prosecuted under the fullest extent of the law. thank you!
