Details: Some of these chat piles (chert piles) are not fenced off, and although not mineral-rich, I found some decent ruby red sphalerite crystals and chunks of silverish gold pyrite.
Directions: Go north on Main st. in webb city until you see chat piles on left and right of the road. The main open area was on the right side of the road.

I went to this spot a couple of weeks ago and it had been bulldozed over. Also this area has a high concentration of chat which seemed pretty stripped of sphalerite. I would not recommend this location.
